ANC 6B Schedules Special Call Meeting for Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at 7:00 PM & Cancels Transportation Committee Meeting in November

Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) 6B has scheduled a special call meeting to consider commenting on the disposition of Parcels F-1 and G-1 of the Hill East District Redevelopment (Reservation 13) for Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at 7:00 PM, immediately preceding the Planning & Zoning Committee meeting.  The meeting will be held in the cafeteria at St. Coletta of Greater Washington, 1901 Independence Avenue SE.

Additionally, ANC 6B has cancelled its Transportation Committee meeting scheduled for Monday, November 3, 2014, at 7:00 PM.

Meeting Time Changed to 7:15 PM for ANC 6B’s Executive Committee Meeting on Tuesday, October 28, 2014

Advisory Neighborhood Commission 6B’s Executive Committee meeting on Tuesday, October 28, 2014, will be convened at 7:15 PM instead of its usual time of 7:00 PM.  The meeting will be held in the Frager’s Hardware Conference Room on the third floor of the Hill Center at the Old Naval Hospital, 921 Pennsylvania Avenue SE.  To attend a meeting on the third floor, please stop by the Hill Center’s reception desk on the ground floor for assistance.

Hill East Task Force Meeting Scheduled for Thursday, October 30, 2014

Advisory Neighborhood Commission 6B’s Hill East Task Force will meet on Thursday, October 30, 2014, 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, at Congressional Cemetery Chapel, 1800 E Street SE.  The task force will discuss Mayor Vincent Gray’s recently released plan to close the DC General homeless shelter and hear from developers/organizations interested in responding to the City’s Request for Proposals for the disposition and redevelopment of the Eastern Branch Boys and Girls Club building located at 261 17th Street SE.
